Operation Military Kids Supply Drive

April is the month of the Military Child. Children whose parents are deployed overseas need our Help too! This month we are working with Operation Military Kids to help them collect items that are given to Children whose parents are sent overseas.

Operation Military Kids of Pennsylvania requests assistance gathering supplies for Hero Packs. Hero Packs are sling bags/backpacks given to school-age children of deployed military parents as a token of appreciation for the sacrifices they make while their parents are deployed. It also provides them with tools to help stay connected with their deployed parent.

Please help us honor these special children by contributing to the Hero Pack Program and let them know that the courage and sacrifices they experience while their loved one is deployed does not go unnoticed by others in the community.

Here are the Items Needed for the Hero Packs:

• Disposable Cameras
• Gift Cards
• Stamps
• Sports Items
• Stationary
• Scrapbook Supplies
• Ink Pens
• Small Hand-Held Toys/Games
• Craft Kits (Jewelry kits, Model airplanes, Small wood crafts, etc.)
• New Chapter Books For Children Ages 7-13
